Gilbert Rail Bridge (M&NA)
Gilbert Rail Bridge (M&NA)

48"x96"
2019

Created as part of “50 States: Arkansas” This drawing is based on an archival image of the Gilbert Rail Bridge, the M&NA bridge crossing the Buffalo National River. All that remains of the bridge today are two monumental stone piers which we used as the primary visual metaphor for the men at the center of this history.
