Performance Detail:
This first component of "Double Self Portrait: Looking at Levittown" is a long duration continuous action that uses images of suburbia ranging from planning schematics of old suburbs to Betty Crocker cookbooks to photo essays on cul-de-sacs to snapshots taken by the artists. We then alter and transfer these images onto acetate sheets using inkjet printers, china markers and ink.
