Lawrence v. Texas written in chalk
Two tone silk screened double self portraits overlaid with lines and arrows from civil war battle-maps displayed in cases lined with chalk-board paint. In chalk on the back of each case is written the entire transcript of the landmark sodomy case Lawrence v. Texas. The piles of chalk dust from the action of writing remain on the bottom of the cases, and a printout of the transcripts is displayed next to the cases.
